Ghislain Omar ElGeddawy took over the management of the well established International Group For Legal, Economic and Tourism Consultations in Zamalek Cairo, Egypt, in 2009.

Established since 1977 the Law Firm benefits from the experience and knowledge of its Managing Partner best known as "Omar ElGeddawy" in international contracts, commercial disputes and arbitration.

The French-Egyptian lawyer graduated from Ein Shams University in Cairo in 1988, obtained a Master Degree in Business law and Economics from Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris in 1991 and wrote a thesis on "Laws of Foreign Investments in Egypt". Omar embodies both cultures, which has helped him build a solid professional career from 1988 to this day.

Omar ElGeddawy worked with several international law firms such as Backer & Mackenzie and Clifford Chance. He experienced the banking and financial sector as head of credits at National Société Général and as portfolio manager at SCIB Investment.

Then, Mr ElGeddawy started off his career in the tourism industry in 1998 as assistant to the Chairman of the Orascom Group where he developed, along with Samih Sawiris, two touristic sites on the Red Sea: ElGouna and Taba Heights. He finished his mission within Orascom as Executive Vice President in charge of new projects.

From 2003 to 2009 Omar was hired as Secretary General of ACCOR Egypt, managing a portfolio of 22 Hotels. This key position allowed Omar ElGeddawy to manage ACCOR’s Egyptian partners, further the Group’s development strategy, and assure the security of ACCOR and its clients through a global risk management policy.

Mr ElGeddawy’s unique background in the legal and corporate world allows him to understand what is at stake with every case in order to meet and exceed his clients’ expectations.
